No, Apple doesn’t give a crap about me enough to send me a review unit yet, but Andy Inhatko of the Chicago Sun-Times got his last week. The embargo ended today.

A brief noon newsblurb

Everyone needs a break around lunchtime and what better way to do it than with video game news.

The Toronto Public Library is looking for $300,000 to start gaming programs and create its own collection. This reminds me of a story we ran a few weeks ago about the Yuba County Library hosting a Technology Petting Zoo, but in a more permanent sense. If they already have books, DVDs and CDs, this is a logical addition.

Warner Bros. is looking at makingSpy Hunter into an actual movie. That’s right, this is somehow going to turn into a Hollywood picture.

Any time you get a chance to read an interview or insight from the creator of Mario, leap on it. When you get two different interviews, it’s a good day.

Here’s one from the Economist and another from Game Informer.

Since you’re probably nearing the end of your break, it’s a good time to look at one of the best endings ever. Though it isn’t gaming related, here’s an unsubscribe screen from Groupon.com.
